UEI provides our students with all of the training and education necessary to begin a long and successful career in the Pharmacy Technician industry. The overall objective of this program is to prepare qualified pharmacy technicians to work under the direct supervision of a pharmacist in both retail and hospital pharmacies. Pharmacy Technician is a unique and rewarding career that combines the challenge of highly detailed work and the satisfaction of helping the public. Graduates receive a diploma and a Registration Number from the California State Board of Pharmacy.
